New Jersey—Jewelry-manufacturing entrepreneur David Connolly has announced his acquisition of Jabel, a manufacturer of fine diamond and colored-stone jewelry.

Connolly said in a press release that he will continue to manufacture the jewelry in the same New Jersey location but with a new focus on line development and service.

"To me, this represents a renaissance for the U.S. jewelry industry. America has some of the most talented and capable jewelry people in the world," Connolly said. "I am very proud of the work we create here in the USA and proud to help keep jewelry-manufacturing jobs here in the country."
