MANILA, Philippines—We cased the metro for the best selection of bangles and bracelets that one can easily pile on or wear solo, and was pleasantly surprised to find a wide, ultra-stylish range from Ice Crystals, a local line of jewelry designed by supermodel Tweetie de Leon-Gonzalez. The collection ran the gamut from organic kamagong bangles accentuated with colorful stones to sleek and modern acrylic cuffs that are fashion-forward yet wearable.

The pieces, which reflect the jewelry designer’s understated style, are not the least bit overpowering or contrived. This is probably due in no small measure to Tweetie’s sensible design philosophy.
