Gold Falls 2% - Silver, Platinum & Palladium Follow - JB News Feed

Gold futures tumbled 2% early Monday, coming under heavy selling pressure as the dollar traded higher against most of its major rivals and crude-oil prices posted a steep decline. Gold for December delivery fell $15.70, or 2%, at $752.70 an ounce on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Other metals prices also posted losses. December silver fell 20.50 cents at $13.43 an ounce, January platinum dropped $12.70 at $1,435.90 an ounce and December palladium fell $9.50 at $363 an ounce. December copper fell 9.55 cents, or 2.7%, at $3.4560 a pound.
