CLARION – The telephone calls about jewelry are coming in at a quick pace at the Clarion County Sheriff’s office – the problem is, of course, the sheriff isn’t in the jewelry business.> >

But the office has become the unwilling point of contact for people worried about their valuables at Paul A. Weaver’s Jewelers in Clarion.

Dee Canavan, sheriff’s office manager told the Clarion News, “We are receiving about 10 phone calls a day with complaints about personal property still at Weaver’s.”
