Dubai-based diamond-grading company International Diamond Laboratories (IDL) issued its 1,000th certificate last week, just four weeks after initiating production.

IDL Chief Executive Officer Peter Meeus acknowledged that the company had reached the milestone earlier than expected and said IDL would continue to deliver quality service.

"IDL will honor the confidence it is receiving from its clients by continuing to deliver accurate and consistent grading results," he said.
