“It bothers me when I hear people say they’re having problems with this vendor or that vendor,” says Blane Perun, VP of Marketing for Shenoa & Co.

Industry experts say it’s common for jewelry stores to sell diamond rings, diamond watches and even loose diamond stones on eBay. 

But Perun says even with 100% positive feedback, shoppers still need to be careful.

“We hear the stories about buyers taking in a ring to get sized when the mall jeweler tells them it’s not the same ring they thought they had bought and that’s unfortunate,” says Shenoa & Co.’s Perun.

Perun says customer service is critical to the success of any company.  He says Shenoa & Co. goes to the extreme to make sure customers get what they order.

“There’s little room for error in the jewelry business,” says Perun.  “We do our best to get it right the first time.”
