When Christopher Prawdzik was a computer science student at the University at Buffalo he never imagined his career path would lead to belly rings, nose rings and other body jewelry.
But at age 39, the Wheatfield entrepreneur owns and operates one of the world’s largest body jewelry manufacturing and sales companies, a multimillion-dollar venture that has hitched its star to the mainstreaming of body piercing. “I got into it completely by accident, but my timing couldn’t have been better,” Prawdzik said about his fast-growing company, Body Candy Body Jewelry.
