Settlement reached in Franck Muller trademark lawsuit - National Jeweler

A federal judge issued an order that restrains several watch retailers based in New York's Diamond District from selling counterfeit Franck Muller watches, or any watches bearing the Franck Muller trademark unless they can prove it was from a bona-fide consumer who used it for their personal use.

The ruling takes aim at what the watch brand has described as a "gray market" of dealers who are not authorized to sell Franck Muller watches. No award was issued in the suit.
