Color defines jewels, panels in two shows - JB News Feed

Twenty exquisite pieces of Tiffany jewelry, all from private collections and rarely seen in public, are on display at the Cincinnati Art Museum. Meticulous lighting allows the preciousness of the jewels and the craftsmanship used in their creation to shine through.

Pieces include the gold-and-enamel Dragonfly Brooch, which features opals, cabochon-sapphire wings and emerald eyes. The elegant art-nouveau piece with flowing lines is a stunner.The small but ornately detailed Vanity Case of gold, enamel, diamond and sapphire presents a detailed landscape with a peacock as a focal point.
