Gold May Drop to $800 by July on Lower Jewelry Sales

Gold may decline to $800 an ounce by July as record prices reduce demand from jewelers and electronics companies, said GFMS Ltd., a London-based research company.

Prices will average $840 an ounce in the first half, GFMS said in a report today. Gold climbed to a record $914.30 three days ago and has averaged about $875 so far this year.
