De Beers will be looking into new markets as a hedge against economic uncertainty in the United States, managing director Gareth Penny told the Namibian press during a visit to the country. "Various elements that we are looking into are seeking new market growth, controlling costs and currently we have a new campaign going on and it is doing well," The Namibian quoted Penny as saying, adding that the mining giant expects strong demand from China, India and the Middle East.
