Investment analysts BlueOar Securities raised its forecast for Gem Diamonds “to reflect stronger pricing” of rough diamonds, particularly in the high end market on which Gem focuses. “Gem is well placed to capitalize on current strong pricing for rough diamonds, based on a combination of larger stones at Letseng and rare yellow diamonds at Ellendale,” BlueOar analyst Alison Stent wrote in a research note published March 7.
