Sterling hit with sex discrimination suit - National Jeweler

Fifteen current and former female employees have filed a class-action lawsuit against Sterling Jewelers, claiming they were paid less than their male counterparts, passed over for promotions and sexually harassed. Filed late Tuesday in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York in Manhattan, the suit alleges specifically that Sterling lacked a system of advertising open positions or allowing employees to express interest when jobs became vacant, court documents show.
