Windsor to Hold Sale on Saturday at SplitSecondAuctions.com

Windsor Auctions has announced they will hold a No Buyer's Premium Jewelry Sale on Split Second Auctions web site this Saturday beginning at 11:00 A.M. (EST). The email to Jewelry Blogger stated the following:

Greetings:

You may be aware that Windsor Auctions is no longer a registered user on eBay. In December 2007, Windsor Auctions filed a lawsuit against eBay, Inc., which claims that eBay violated Antitrust and Unfair Competition laws.

On March 5th, Windsor was notified by eBay that it would suspend Windsor's account. It gave no reason, but Windsor has never violated any eBay policy to justify the suspension. We therefore view the suspension as retaliatory due to the pending lawsuit.

As you may know, litigation can sometimes be the only avenue available by which to effectuate change. We believe we have legitimate claims agaisnt eBay, and a right to bring them. eBay has responded by canceling Windsor's registration as an ebay user.

There is no doubt that eBay is nearly all-powerful, and its summary removel of Windsor puts us a serious disadvantage. However, we are pelased to announce that Windsor has found a new home on the net.

This Saturday at 11:00 AM (eastern standard time) Windsor will hold its No Buyer's Premium Jewelry Auction on SplitSecondAuctions.com.  Windsor will liquidate product on a weekly basis in order to raise cash and remain in business to serve our customers, such as you.

We hope you will join us this Saturday. Your support is appreciated.  We intend to continue to serve you as we have in the past.

Thank You,
Windsor Auctions, Inc.

No doubt, Windsor continues to survive the wrath of eBay. Hopefully, those who support change will attend their sale and help them fight the good fight!
