Jewelry Television cutting more than 200 jobs

Jewelry Television has eliminated more than 200 jobs as part of a restructuring needed to improve its competitive position during the current economic downturn, company officials announced today. The Knoxville-based home shopping network reduced its work force at its headquarters by 150, while eliminating 65 positions in Nashville two weeks ago.
