'Most important' colored diamond sells for $8.9M

A 13.39-carat blue diamond offered at Christie's Geneva recently is being touted as the most important colored diamond ever sold at auction anywhere in the world during the last 10 years, according to the auction house. The diamond, which sold at Christie's Geneva on May 14, achieved a world-record price of $8.9 million.
