In retail, a little competition can be a good thing, as it keeps salespeople on their toes and prompts them to push one another to achieve and exceed their goals. Sometimes, however, the competitive spirit among members of a sales team can get so intense, it causes discord and dissension—and, as the team leader, you can end up in the unenviable position of having two valued team members who actually dislike and resent one another.
