Diavik Diamond Mine to Adopt Rio Tinto Logo - Rapaport
The Diavik Diamond Mine is planning to rebrand its logo to reflect the ownership of holding company Rio Tinto. The mine, which is 60 percent owned by Rio Tinto and 40 percent by Harry Winston Diamond Corporation, will unveil its new look in the weeks and months to come, Diavik said in its quarterly news letter. “Diavik already operates under the very high standards and guidance of Rio Tinto, and business will continue as usual,” the newsletter read. “However, the bright red Rio Tinto logo will replace Diavik’s.”
