Rockwell Diamonds reduced operating losses in the three months ending May 31, 2008 as it trimmed costs at its four South Africa mines, the company said Tuesday. Rockwell’s net loss was reduced 58 percent toe $801,353 for the first fiscal quarter of 2009, and revenues fell 7.6 percent to $7.09 million. Revenues included contract sales of $156,220, which had been significantly larger in the same quarter one year ago.
